We have been very fortunate to have built a close working relationship with GB Taekwondo. Each cohort has always had a day’s visit to the National Centre to meet the athletes, receiving instruction from some of the athletes, tour the facility and have a presentation from some of the athletes about choosing a high-performance elite career in sports. All the children always return to school inspired and several have decided that they would like to choose a career in sports having not previously realised that this was an option.
